How long is the iso-50001-training course?
The course runs for 5 days (40 hours), delivered live in a virtual classroom (Zoom) by an experienced tutor.
What are the prerequisites?
A basic understanding of ISO 50001 is recommended, but the course is open to anyone who wants to become a certified lead auditor.
What is the exam format?
Assessment is via the CQI | IRCA-recognised examination at the end of the course, combined with continuous tutor evaluation during the 5 days.
What is the pass mark?
Overall minimum 50% (40 out of 80 marks) in the CQI/IRCA examination, AND you must pass each examination domain individually — 40/80 is not sufficient if you fail any single domain.
Is the certificate accredited?
Yes. This is a CQI | IRCA certified training course and you receive a globally recognised certificate from Empowering Assurance Systems (EAS) on successful completion.
